We would first like to thank everyone who came out for our syrup sale this year at Molley Chomper. What a great day. The weather was beautiful, the food was exceptional, and it meant so much to us to meet so many of you in person—talking, tasting, and connecting as you made your way through the sampling table and chose your syrup for the year.
We had folks travel from as far as Wilmington, NC and Cookeville, TN to be there, which truly humbled us.
We are continually in awe of the support we receive from those of you who return year after year to buy our syrup and follow along with this work. It is something we do not take lightly. So, once again—thank you. And a big thank you as well to everyone at Molley Chomper who helped make the day possible.
Since the sale, we have been moving steadily through the shutdown process in the sugar house and sugar bush. Nearly all of the taps have been pulled, and the sugar house is almost clean and ready for a long rest.
You likely won’t hear much from us until next winter, but the work here continues year-round. In many ways, the next season has already begun.
If you’re curious what that looks like, we invite you to follow along on our YouTube channel, In the Making. We’ve just released our second video, offering a close, quiet look at how we split, bag, transport, and store our firewood for winter—work that supports everything we do when the season returns.
Thank you for being part of this with us. We look forward to sharing it all with you again next year
